Phulchowki is located 16 km south east of Kathmandu and is the largest peak in Kathmandu standing at a height of 2782 meters. It takes four hours to reach the top.The hike is exciting because of the variety of birds and butterflies that can be spotted as well as the beautiful scenery. On a clear day one get a view of Mount Everest and Mount Dhaulagiri.
