Daman is located in the central region of Nepal. It is approximately 80 kilometers from Kathmandu and is at an elevation of 2400 meters. Daman offers one of the best views of the Himalayan Range in Nepal. On a clear day, an unobstructed view of the entire Himalayan Range can be seen from Daman. Towards the left we can see the mesmerizing view of Dhaulagiri Mountain and towards the right the attention grabbing Mount Everest. Other peaks that are visible from Daman are Gaurishankar (7134m), Annapurna III (7555m), Choba Bhamre (6016m) and Phurbi Chyachu (6637m).
