Bandipur is located at an elevation of 1030 meters and is 700 meters above the Marsyangdi River Valley and can be accessed through Kathmandu-Pokhara Highway. The Newar town has been successful in preserving its historical flavor and offers tourists beautiful architecture, implausible views, splendid caves and unblemished landscape. Excellent view of various Himalayan peaks like Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Annapurna, Ganesh and Langtang can be observed. During the rhododendron season the valley is covered by this flower.
