This scenic trek through the river valley of the Dudh Koshi encounters traditional Sherpa villages, peaceful monasteries with magnificent views of Mt Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kantega. The highest point is Pangboche [3908 meters] where you will have an opportunity to visit the famous Thyangboche Monastery, set high on an inclined ridge, commanding the most spectacular view of Mt. Ama Dablam.
A week below Everest also offers views of glaciers, sprawling snowfields and glistening ice ridges. You will also experience unique nature hikes through dark forests, open pastures and wade through masses of rhododendron flowers.
